Just a random South Ethiopia village, to show off some pictures of rural life.
Traveling the South of Ethiopia, we stopped in a village along the road from Arba Minch to Karat-Konso. Nothing special, just an opportunity to illustrate village life is this part of the world, with a few pictures – because I like the pictures.
Unfortunately, we were too early for the Monday cattle market, which is held near the Gato River crossing, on this road. Because of the distances involved for market participants, markets tend to start only around 11 am, and are over by 2 pm. Anyhow, it is not that we haven’t seen any cattle markets in Ethiopia yet, check out Aksum or Bati, if you are interested.
if you have, I need information about gato river watershed
Hi Mose, I am afraid I cannot help you with that. Best regards, Bruno
