Finland and the Baltics
Most of this site is about travel to far-away countries – far-away from our West European base – but occasionally we stay closer to home. Where, I have to admit, we also find fabulous travel opportunities, and somewhat more convenient because we just get in the car, without too much preparation. There is already quite some coverage of SE Euope. Our first substantial trip to NE Europe was to Finland and the Baltic Republics, in September/October 2023.
