Papua New Guinea was my introduction to the rest of the world, my first stay abroad in 1985-1986. Once you have spent time here, you can handle any other place. But also, once you have spent time here, you are spoiled for the rest of your life, nothing will ever be as fascinating.
Text and photos to come, but just to provide a taste, here is a series of pictures from a 1986 calender called “Expressions of Papua New Guinea”– it was that long ago that I was in Papua New Guinea.
