Too short a trip to see it all, but two weeks in early 2000 was enough for the highlights: Yangon, Mandalay and Bagan. There is not a lot of text – it is long ago -, but mostly photos, although quality is not always up to specs, as these are scanned slides, which have suffered from some discolouration prior to scanning.

The first impression, a photo essay of Bagan – just to share some pretty pictures of this unique, and under-rated temple complex. The second is Yangon, equally photo-dominated, and the thrid is Mandalay, mostly the deserted cities surrounding this town.
