Because of our problems with a Nigerian visa, we flew into Benin from Cameroon, and spent the first few days on our own. We then linked up with the truck again, after several delays, and continued the ‘expedition’, with a focus on Voodoo dances and ceremonies. That way, we stayed longer in Benin than any other country on this trip, eleven days.
